All locations must have a mapped out location in the Highland Hub. Follow the steps below to draw a site and block for your new site type.

At least (1) site is required to use the Highland Hub. Accurate site type, block information and acreage are especially important for CropIQ 2.0 or Food Safety.
Note: A farm site type requires both a site and one block to save your site. Blocks are not required to save all other site types. See "How to Add a Block" below for instructions.
How to Draw a Site
1. Set up the map by selecting your site type, then search by address or coordinates to show the location within the map.
2. Click the draw icon located on the map.

3. To draw the shape of your site, click along the perimeter to add points.
4. Click the first point to close the shape.
5. A modal will appear to confirm your gross acreage is correct. Click the Got it button or X to close.

6. For all non-farm sites, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Farm site types, continue below to add a block and save your site.
How to Add a Block
All farm site types require at least one block in order to save your new site.
1. Follow steps 1-5 in "How to Draw a Site" above.
2. Click the draw icon located on the map again.
3. Select each corner of the block.
4. Click the first point to close the shape.
Note: Block specific values will display below the map. Enter this information on a per block basis.
5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
6. Repeat these steps for each additional block.
Additional Information about Drawing Your Blocks:
- You cannot draw blocks outside the site's perimeter.
- Rename your blocks to reflect your operation's naming system.
- Assign a color to each block from the dropdown menu named Color.
